The most important thing for a kid to learn along the journey into adulthood is discipline. In an ideal world, with discipline as foundation, gradually a kid will learn the skillset of will power and mature into an adult who takes responsibilities and get the job done. Discipline is the key to develop good habits, and good habits lead to excellent management of time as well as many other things in life. However will power is a temporary thing and it does not work for everyone in each single situation, because in order to exhibit strong will power, a deep sense of purpose is required as the backbone. And over time that strong reason behind the action either dies down or becomes irrelevant. Similar scenarios happens when we are trying to go on a diet or stick to a workout routine, it only yields great results when we are extremely motivated by the reward, or have absolutely no other choice but deliver the desired results, like getting fit for a perfect wedding dress, or train for a marathon because we are eager to prove ourselves for a cause.
The Natural Law of Success
When we do not fully understand the basic strength and weaknesses within our human nature, we are at the risk of failing at balancing and succeding life. Once we get to a certain maturity where we can reach a rational understanding and acceptance of the limitation of life, and subsequently develop our own level of mastery within the conflicting sides of our psyche, we become the masters of our own life. It takes creativity to initiate innovative ideas, however discipline guarantees the delivery of the finishing product at the finishing line. It takes resilience for a person to achieve a long term goal, however if we stretch ourselves too tight for too long, the joy within the journey starts to fade away.
Force of Personal Power
The real drive behind true personal power is the desire from within. Sometimes this desire could be mundane pursuits, other times this desire could be subconscious needs. The power force behind our mundane pursuits is quite straightforward, as it goes along with the basic law of manifestation: a goal achieving process that’s infused with a firm intention, strong emotion, devoted action and unshakable persistence. It starts with that old saying, where there is a will, there is a way. However as simple as it may sound, we tend to fail at our mission at all stages, with causes from lack of determination, to confused emotion, to weakness in persistence and sometimes we just get to learn that we can’t control the outcome of everything, and when you attempt to reach the moon, you will most likely end up somewhere in the middle. We can read all the self help books out there, and attempt to master all kinds of techniques, formulas and routines, however in pursuit of our conscious outcome, sometimes what’s in our way is actually our subconscious mind and unconscious awareness.
The Fulfillment beyond The Eye
When it comes to children and pets, one thing you’ll notice about them is that they always know how to play by their nature. They don’t need much, just a toy or a tennis ball can keep them occupied with delight for a while. On the contrary, as humans being we are trained to become an adult since an early age, we go to school and acquire different skillsets, pave out a career path, and start our own family. In a way the process of adulting is beautiful, cause there’s a sense of accomplishment coming from the achievement of independence that being in a sheltered environment can never provide.

The things is during the process of mastering all prospectives of life, we sometimes forgot or ignored what truly drives us underneath: the passion for life. Sometimes we work hard to be in service of other people, in exchange we find fulfillment in the process of creating something surpass our personal needs, other times we work our ass off so that we can feed our families and take care of our loved ones. However we are also making all these efforts so that we can make it to places of our dreams and create a life that we as an individual desires and find enjoyment within.
